Q : What are the Changes of ISO 9001:2008 as compared to 2000 version ?
A : We have identified 15 key changes that will affect the documentation & implementation of our Quality Management System. Those key changes shall include Outsourced Processes (4.1), Training Evaluation to Achieve Competency (6.2.2), Work Environment (6.4), Post Delivery Services (7.2.1), Customer Perception (8.2.1), etc.
Q : Can we get our Company certified under UKAS & DSM ?
A : Yes. Both UKAS & DSM are the member countries of ISO. You may get this through Certification Body (i.e. SGS, Lyod’s, etc) who provides these services.
Q : What is the minimum documented procedure in ISO9001:2008 ?
A : Clause 4.2.3 Control of Document, 4.2.4 Control of Records, 8.2.2 Internal Audit, 8.3 Control of NC, 8.5.2 Corrective Action & 8.5.3 Preventive Action.
Q : How do you ensure that the staffs are aware on their activities and contribution to the achievement of quality
      objectives ?
A : To conduct Employee Quality Awareness Survey
Q : How do you select for the internal auditors ?
A : Internal Auditor shall be trained and not the process owner.
Q : How do you establish the Quality Objectives ?
A : These are established at each function and level of the organization.
Q : Is the Company hand book part of document needed by QMS ?
A : Yes. Refer to clause requirement 4.2.1(d)
Q : What are the important criteria that we need to include in the MR Meeting ?
A : 7 review input as per Clause 5.6.2 & 3 review output as per Clause 5.6.3
Q : Would Integrated Management System helpful ?
A : Yes. If we combine all the shared procedure (i.e. Control of Document, Control Records, Internal Audits, etc) of all the management system (i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22001, ISO/TS 16949, etc), then we may not have to repeat the same for each of the management system.
Q : What is the difference of ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 ?
A : ISO 14001 is Environmental Management System, where by OHSAS 18001 is Occupational Safety & Health Management System. The focus of both the management system is different, but the structure of forming the clause requirements is almost the same.
