What are the Key Changes of HR related Procedures ?

While reviewing the ISO 9001:2015, the International Standard (IS) has extensively elaborated on the HR related clauses as below :
•    Organizational roles, responsibilities and authorities (Clause 5.3)
•    People (Clause 7.1.2)
•    Competence (Clause 7.2)
•    Awareness (Clause 7.3)

In fact, the key emphasis of the above clauses have been covered by the ISO 9001:2008. The only new focuses of HR related processes are as per below :
•    Organizational Knowledge (7.1.6)
•    Communication (7.4)


The challenge of Organization Knowledge is, how a company develops a system to determine, acquire, share and retain the current or additional knowledge being gained from work experience by every employee day in and day out.

For communication, the IS has clearly required us to determine the internal & external communications (a) on what is will communicate, (b) when to communicate, (c) with whom to communicate, (d) how to communicate, and (e) who communicates. We will suggest to clearly identify the communication channel in each of the procedures.
